The platinum plated hypoallergenic surgical steel are safe for sensitive ears. These make my earrings stand out from most others because they use cheap brass or copper ear wires which make most ears itchy and sore.  Mine won’t do that! And unlike sterling silver ear wires, mine stay looking new without having to polish them.  I include rubber backs to keep them secure in your ears.
